as to why some have left their Church

I have written about this before, if you do not like your church, merely start your own church, most churches historically are splinter, break away groups http://postedat.wordpress.com/2008/10/16/who-founded-the-church/

There are many reasons people still do give for quitting, leaving their church, reasons  even such as ,

1: There are too many hypocrites in the church
2: all they want is my money
3: I do not support a one man ministry
4: they only practice a small portion of the Bible, they pick and choose what they like,
5: it is just a cultural, or a social club
6: they kicked me out cause I was poor
7 The Church was imperfect and it reminded me I was imperfect
8 They did not recognize my spiritual gifts or ministry
9 God told me to establish my own church

Sadly most Christians still really do not know God, Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit, and the Bible  personally too.. less than 5 percent of Christians read their Bible 5 minutes a day, so they talk about things they really do not know, that they have not experienced, and yes the Holy Ghost especially.. undeniably too,  but they still love to judge the others but why?Their ignorance of the Bible is alone not the issue, most Christians, church leaders  also wrongfully personally do pick and choose what parts of the Bible they will practice, and which one they will not. All professing Christians daily need to practice what they know, even the ten commandments. Too many wolves in sheep clothing in the churches today We live in an epidemic of adultery fornication divorce and abortion in the church. – the reason we live in such an epidemic in the church is that Christians of every stripe. Evangelicals, Fundamentalists, Pentecostals, and Charismatic, have no foundation of the Holy Spirit in their life. Most believers that I have met have never once read the bible cover to cover. They have come to believe that if they mumble a few words about accepting Christ in their heart, that it is now all good, that they have passed from death unto life, and so they do not have to worry anymore about such mundane things as their having to obey the Words and Commandments of Jesus Christ and the Apostles. Nothing could be father from the truth, disobedience and rebellion no matter where when or what you may have mumbled at some point of your life – brings forth eternal death in your soul. (Mat 7:13 KJV) Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. 15

It is very ironic that I have often said that if you really want to know how spiritual someone is, do first see how they do in regard their emphasis on the  importance of money, for their related greed for it will show their true spiritual values, or rather the lack of it.But if you have not been baptized with the Holy Spirit, and clearly admit you do not speak in tongues, and that you do not have the gift of healing, anointed gifts, so how  can you really honestly judge any of the others by comparisons, even by the discerning gift of the Holy Spirit..

> I LEFT THE TONGUES MOVEMENT BECAUSE OF:
1. Sincere convictions regarding their doctrines, emphases, and practices.
2. An unsound biblical basis for their doctrine of the Holy Spirit.
3. An over-emphasis of one gift of the Holy Spirit.
4. An under-emphasis of other doctrines.
5. Their “experience” orientation.
6. The undermining of the personality of the Holy Spirit.
7. Spiritual pride and disunity produced by their doctrine.
8. The teaching that tongues-speaking is a sign of spirituality and even of salvation.
9. Sign-seeking instead of faith.
10. Questionable activities practiced and condoned.
11. The fear of questioning the so-called activities of the Holy Spirit.
12. The view that the Corinthian church was a model church.
13. The danger of claiming extra-biblical revelation.
14. The excesses and deceptive practices condoned in divine healing campaigns.
15. The tendency to blind, unquestioning devotion to popular leaders.
16. The possibility that the Charismatic Movement will be instrumental in producing the prophesied world ecumenical church of the last days.
17. Their distortion of the true Spirit-filled life.

>Miracles (divine intervention suspending natural law) have ceased (Zech 13:1-4). God is still all-powerful, but he is today working providentially. The miracles of the New Testament were temporary, confirming Jesus was the Christ, and the apostles were his messengers (John 3:2; Acts 1:8). When the New Testament revelation was completed (1 Cor 13:8-10), miracles ceased (Mark 16:19-20; Heb.2:3-4). The New Testament is complete (Jude 3, John 16:13). The word is what we need to guide us (2 Tim 3:160.

>As a Pentecostal, I never saw a miracle like the lame or blind healed or the dead raised. They came unhealed and left unhealed. One of the greatest “miracles” of Pentecostalism was that I did not have the eyes to see the truth (2 Thess 2:9-12), but let the power of suggestion and emotions blind me.

You went to the wrong church, for  I have seen miracles the last 50 decades, real ones and often, and if you humbly seek God and not do your own thing you will find him here on earth, he is all around all of us too.. http://afollowerofchrist.multiply.com/

A true Christian believers set of beliefs, doctrines is based on what the Holy Spirit himself who also is God himself now teaches you and me and his teachings they will not contradict the Bible.. and it is not rather based solely on what an angel or other men may teach us too. But of course if any others because they really still do not know God and/or because they are doing “your own thing”, following their own will, and/or have not died to Jesus Christ, they thus are not open to the Holy Spirit himself to talk with them thus they really should find out why too! otherwise they will mostly allow the false men, false angels to deceive themselves instead.. So how are they dealing with Jesus Christ firstly.. is he personally rightfully their Lord, Savior, or are they just playing a religious game? so I like to note that the type of response to my posts is also still reflective of the true spiritual nature of all of the posters as well and I can easily see those who have found the truth, and those who are still seeking for it or have wrongfully denied it..

Mormons, Jehovah Witnesses, Dispensationalists too, and many others they also are not Christians- certainly thus not anointed by the Holy Sprit, and not by along shot.. for they had missed out as to who Jesus Christ the Messiah was, and not just who who the Holy Spirit is.. so how can they even be anointed ones.. Mormons, Jehovah Witnesses, Dispensationalists, others have   a religion yes, but the true religion? certainly not.

Human reason logic, is corrupt and limited.. learning how to now hear God talking to you firstly is what everyone should learn.. I have absolutely no doubt the devil talks to me, but so do God, the Holy sprit and Jesus separately as well too.. for decades now too.

The Holy Spirit: Power from on High Power is also a  symbol of the person  of Holy Spirit  (Acts 1:8 KJV)  But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. (Acts 10:38 KJV)  How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

Revelation 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

And the answers to the question as to why some have left the church is not more important then as to why some persons have next left their Faith altogether. In my lifetime 50 percent of once loudly professing Christians, like the Apostle Judas left the faith altogether, basically cause God did not give them what they had wanted, hoped, expected initially..  so they no longer had any use  for God..  for they had falsely used   religion  as a mere   tool to advance themselves, or to prosper, or whatever.. and when they did not get what they wanted.. they gave it up on their religion too easily… and generally tend to blame  others for doing so in the process too

Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.

(Rom 8:7 KJV) Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
(1 Cor 3:1 KJV) And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.
(1 Cor 3:3 KJV) For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
(1 Cor 3:4 KJV) For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?
Mind you Jesus said by their fruits you tell what they are like.. which include their love, joy, peace, gentleness, meekness, patience’s, faith.. since gifts operating in faith, the amount you have or the lack thereof..

My real often reality is that even most so called Christians today when the see a miracle, they try to deny it, explain it away.. but they did that also in Jesus time now too.. so what else is new?

If you read the Book of acts then you did notice that the emphasis on the Holy Spirit, and distributing money, food to the local poor people was part of the reason the churches next were so popular and growing. While in contrast today many Churches. pastors, members, adherents, are selfish cheapskates. True pastors, elders, ministers would firstly daily read their Bible for one hour and pray daily for others. And what people need firstly is getting the book of acts Pentecostal experiences.. and they will naturally next care for the poor people, act like real anointed Christians.

I admit there are much too many even crooked pastors around these days for my liking, and in my own witness, experiences the last 4 decades too..

“The ignorance of the Bible and the works of the Holy Spirit have placed many people, churches, radio and television ministries, and itinerant ministries in jeopardy for their very existence because they are so desperate for success, numbers and money that they are ready to chase after any experience or anybody whom they think will attract people to them. There are many people today who do not know their Scriptures and the penalties that come from straying away from them. They are like the Sadducees of whom Jesus said, “You are wrong, because you know neither the scriptures nor the power of God” (Matt. 22: 29; Mk. 12: 24).”

(Gal 6:7 KJV) Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

Actually the degree of negative personal consequences also are determined as to how quickly you on your own had repented of your major sins, or did Gold almost have to force you into confession of your sins as he did to King David And many People would know that already too had they actually read the Bible as they lying often claim they do too.

Where is the power of God that we see in the Old and New testament Prophets, in Christ and in the Apostles? And what are we doing that is now different in the Church from that I read of in the book of Acts in the Bible? Why do we not see this power.. Is it’s God’s fault or ours rather still?

Too Many Christians are doing their own thing, trying to live a life without Jesus, without even taking to him now often too.. Jesus himself hath said without me you can do nothing.. nothing!!! we all should stop hero worshipping mere men and start rather to worshipping God alone.

The world is seeking scientists or money. The Church is seeking scholars. But God is seeking his true servant, true believers, true prophets. Most people even professing Christians have not experienced God goodness, power, manifestation, Holy Spirit, His Word too, cause they are too busy still doing their own thing even.
(Luke 14:26 KJV)  If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

(Luke 14:33 KJV)  So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

(Acts 1:8 KJV)  But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

(Acts 10:38 KJV)  How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

11 Responses to as to why some have left their Church

  1. All of the things you’ve mentioned may well be reasons for which some have left the church – but here’s another reason or two: the preacher’s sermons are too long, unprepared, uninteresting, and too judgmental! The Gospel is “Good news.” Much preaching tends to be “bad news.” One could point to “remove the beam out of your own eye…” “Judge not that ye be not judged…”, “for behold I bring you good tidings of great joy…”, but you get the idea.
    David

  2. We seem not to mind sitting for hours in front of the black or red boxes of Hell, the TV or computers, but for sure 2 hours in a boring man or mere mind led Church service is really still much too long.. unless you attend a lively Holy Spirit Led, Pentecostal church, with Praise, Worship, Prophecies and much more.. but there the services start at 6 pm and end past midnight, and not just Sunday or Monday but even 5 days a week.. and there was at least 1500 young people for a Sunday and Wednesday night meeting too.. I attended such great services for years too.

Unlike the Holy Spirit inspired sermons the Man made sermons are void of real power.. mere imposters, pretenders still.. but what can you expect from people who do not know the Holy Spirit personally, have in reality not been anointed by Him yet too.

On top of that for decades I never have sold any of the Gospel for money, nor have I ever asked for money for the minstry, I took no offerings too, etc., for as I have freely received from Jesus Christ, His Holy Spirit so I give it out freely, even to the rich or poor, for I am not a hireling, I rather do really live by Faith in God and his Word, His Son, and I trust God to supply what I need for the ministry still too.

By the way I still except all preachers to practice what they preach to others personally too such as “” the preacher’s sermons are too long, unprepared, uninteresting, and too judgmental! One could point to “remove the beam out of your own eye…” “Judge not that ye be not judged…”,” and thus in your own reply I could not help but notice how judgmental you now still were too.. sadly it does seem hypocritical on your part too.

Thanks for the comment.. but I would leave your church now too,,

and you got it wrong.. the Full Gospel is both good news and bad news.. the bad news is many professing Christians are still going to Hell says Jesus himself and the Apostles.

(Rom 8:29 KJV) For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

(Rom 12:2 KJV) And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

  3. One’s own opinion about religion really still does not matter to many people, the churches now likely especially and to over half the the citizens..

LARGEST Religions in the United States, 2004
    Christianity 224,437,959
    Nonreligious/Secular 38,865,604
    Judaism 3,995,371

    Atheist 1,272,986
    Hinduism 1,081,051
    Unitarian Universalist 887,703

THE CHRISTIANS IN THE US INFLUENCE POLITICS SO HEAVILY STILL TOO. REALITY
    Religious Preference March 2002
    Christian 82 percent of which
    the Protestants are 52 percent
    and the Catholics 24

Largest denominational families in U.S., (self-identification, ARIS) Adult Pop. 2004 Est.
    Catholic 71,796,719
    Baptist 47,744,049
    Pentecostal/Charismatic 6,219,569
    Assemblies of God 1,560,890

    Presbyterian 7,897,597
    Episcopalian/Anglican 4,870,373
    http://www.adherents.com/rel_USA.html

and all cannot disregard the influence they do also have on others too.

According to a poll in the 1990s, about one in five Christians in the United States claims to be a Baptist The Baptists number over 110 million worldwide in more than 220,000 congregations, and are considered the largest world communion of evangelical Protestants, with an estimated 38 million members in North America.[4] Large populations of Baptists also exist in Asia, Africa and Latin America, notably in India (2.4 million), Nigeria (2.5 million), Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) (1.9 million), and Brazil (1.7 million).[5]
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baptist

Largest Christian denominations in the world
    2.1 Catholicism – 1.2 billion
    2.2 Protestantism – 699 million[2]
    2.3 Eastern Orthodoxy – 260 million
    2.4 Oriental Orthodox Church – 81.0 million
    2.5 Anglicanism – 77 million
    2.6 Nontrinitarianism – 23 million
    2.7 Nestorianism – 1 million
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Christian_denominations_by_number_of_members

and as per the supposed need of any separation of the church and state that is a clear demonic rule now too that cannot ever be enforced in reality ..any man or women who separates his political life from religion tends to have no morals.. and that is what the devil likes,

I HAVE MADE HUNDREDS OF POST ON DIFFERENT SUBJECTS AND STILL RELIGION IS THE MAIN POST MOST PEOPLE DO READ. 80 PERCENT OF MY READERS PREFER TO READ THE RELIGIOUS POST FIRSTLY TOO.. THIS IS THE REALITY MANY BULLIES, BASHERS, LIBERALS , CANNOT SEE OR FACE .
    .
My top 2 most read past posts on all 5 of my wordpress sites were about Sarah Palin firstly, Rev Todd Bentley secondly , and both are Pentecostals now too..

next the general Christian topics, such as the bad Christian Missionary Alliance Church, are the thirdly most popular read ones.

the Secular posts are all in the bottom ten percent .. in reality few bother to read them.. except those about about bad Bell, Sympatico ISP and bad cops. Bad RCMP..
