Canada – Not considering life from the employees point of view, or the rising gas prices, rising cost of living, the rising rent costs too, but now in the wake of Toronto’s fifth transit strike in 19 years, we supposedly are to expect a groundswell of support for “declaring transit an essential service,” in all Canadian cities too,  i.e. taking away transit workers’ right to strike. So let us take away the right next of all persons to strike. But that would not be fair many would still say? It does depends on whose point of view of course? If the employees  also earn more they will pay more tax dollars? Or it would be more costly for the province to pay them? What happened to Fairness and Balance? Paying employees their honest wages too now?
